Drag the measures on to the score to fit the melody you hear. Melodies will be stepwise. The tone you hear during the metronome clicks will always be tonic, so be aware that not all melodies will start on the tonic note. If there is a pickup, the metronome will give a listed number of clicks before you should start singing.
