Overview
This module introduces the system musicians use to identify pitch. You will learn how clefs assign note names to the staff, how pitches are labeled using octave numbers, and how these pitches are arranged on the piano keyboard. By the end of this module, you will be able to identify notes in treble, bass, alto, and tenor clefs, name pitches using scientific pitch notation, and locate natural and accidental notes on the piano.
