Write a bass accompaniment for a 12-bar blues in C. Each measure arpeggiates the dominant seventh chord named by its chord symbol in eight eighth notes, starting on the root. Measure 1 shows a standard blues bass line: up the chord to the root an octave higher, then back down. You can use that pattern in every measure, or the chord's notes in any order after the root.
A dominant seventh chord is a major triad plus a minor 7th above the root:
The key signature has no flats, so be sure to add the flat accidentals when the chords need them.
